Backup verification tool Description:

Backup verification tool is Freeware program for Mac OS developed by Eon Works

cpverify verifies that a documentation or directory structure has been copied or burned without errors. That is, the copied documentation(s) is precisely the unmodified as the first. This is done by calculating a cryptographic checksum using the md5 message-digest algorithm on each documentation from the inception and the copy terminus. The checksums seeking each documentation are then compared. Any difference indicates that the copied documentation is not the unmodified as the first inception documentation. Name of the documentation that fail to equivalent the first inception documentation is printed to stdo.

Initially this scenario was written to corroborate that a CD ROM backup has been burned fault free. Currently the scenario can corroborate whole directory trees as rich as unattached files.
